WELCOME TO COVEN

A Place for Strong Women

Here, movement is more than physical. It is an act of self-reclamation.

Coven Fitness isn’t just a gym—it’s a community of real, authentic, and powerful women who lift together, grow together, and heal together. We know that strength isn’t just about how much weight you can move; it’s about resilience, overcoming, and finding a place where you truly belong.

Whether you’re here to build muscle, reclaim your body, or find a space that sees and supports you, we honor your journey. We take a trauma-informed approach to fitness, recognizing that every woman walks through our doors with her own story. This is a place where you don’t have to be anything but yourself—where humor, honesty, and grit are just as important as strength and technique.

No egos. No judgment. Just a community of women lifting each other up, one rep at a time.

Welcome home.

THE BIRTH OF THE GYM

Women have long been overlooked in fitness—told we don’t fit in because of our body type, race, or the way we take up space. Coven Fitness was created to change that.

Here, strength isn’t just about lifting weights; it’s about breaking barriers, healing through movement, and reclaiming our space. This is more than a gym—it’s a movement. It’s about feeling our power, and challenging the systems that have kept us feeling like we weren’t enough.

One:One Personal Training, Small Group Classes and Weightlifting Workshops. We are more than just lifters. We are a coven. And together, we rise.

Nicole “Coco” Kennedy-Raymes

Coven Fitness Founder, House Witch, Space Holder, Trauma-Informed Weightlifting Coach, USAW Level 1 Olympic Weightlifting Coach, Institute for Integrative Nutrition

Physical movement has been a constant in Nicole’s life—a way back to herself when she felt lost.

As a child and young adult, she craved it, not realizing that movement was helping her process the energy of past trauma. Without words, her body found a way to release, to heal, to transform.

Strength training became more than just exercise; it became alchemy—a way to turn emotional wounds into freedom, resilience, and power.

She built Coven Fitness to be a sanctuary for that transformation. A space to call on your strength, to create a ritual of self-care, to connect, to grow, and to push beyond limits—all while being met exactly where you are on your path.

TESTIMONIALS

A woman with tattoos on her arms and legs is holding a kettlebell between her legs, standing on a wooden box in a gym. She is wearing black camouflage leggings, yellow athletic shoes, and a black top.
  • "In just five months, Nicole has helped me love my body in a whole different mirror. She’s the real deal. No shame. No pressure to be anything other than who you are; just support, strength, and real results. She actually lives what she says: that every woman’s body is beautiful at every stage. I’ve never felt more seen, more capable, or more proud of what my body can do. This isn’t about chasing skinny. It’s about showing up, getting strong, and building respect for yourself from the inside out. If you’re looking for a trainer who meets you where you are and helps you become stronger without the BS, Coco is it."

  • “I really appreciate what Nicole has done for my husband and me. We started her remote programming in February. Since then, I have completely come off all my thyroid medication, and my husband has lost 22 pounds. It has really boosted his self-esteem. We work out together now! Doing this work has helped our marriage and is changing us! ”

    June - Personal Training

  • “My sister and I made a commitment to each other to get serious about our physical health and fitness. We're both cyclists, and my main goal for this journey is to get stronger and faster on my bike. I loathe going to the gym. In the past, it's felt intimidating—what's this machine? How do I use it? Am I doing this exercise correctly? This lack of confidence and general lackluster attitude towards the gym and fitness culture inhibited my ability to consistently train for the betterment of my physical and mental health. Working with Coco has been transformative and life-changing. When you’re a part of Coven, you're a part of a community of supportive, like-minded people. Coco works hard to cultivate a safe space to train without ego, to learn, to push yourself, and even to fail and be humbled. Even when we don't train together, I know that I'm training safely because Coco teaches you the fundamentals and offers really important cues and feedback. I am stronger, more knowledgeable, and more confident in the gym, and yes, I'm faster on my bike. ”

Coven is a space where women come to feel safe and supported. Lifting weights, whether it is bodyweight movements or barbell deadlifts, can be intimidating. Nicole will lead you through movements that help build a foundation of strength, meeting you where you are in each moment.
